I finally finished my new metal art project. It’s a medicine wheel made from metal, with thin aluminum cut into animal shapes – buffalo, eagle, mouse and bear at the directional quarters and then these animals have been worked to give some detail in them. Metal feathers hang from the bottom, and real feathers in the center. The backing is organza. Someone please remind me to never, ever, attempt to make organza attach to an itty bitty thin edge of metal again – that’s what I’ve been doing for the past two days – no wonder I’m crazy.
